Change color of the Unity.

Hello to all, I wanted to know if it exists a MOD or does like, to be able to change the color of the unity moved. Because I experienced to put the Triari to the Greek, but the color remains red... there is a manner for note, to change it? And also the profile of the unity, is shown like a black peasant, and not like a Triar. Thanks!

Well, the "color of the unity" is actually the texture of the model itself. It is not something applied by the game on top of the unit. So, changing that will require editing the texture with an appropriate software(GIMP being free). It is not hard, but it requires some work if you are not used to it.
The peasant icons are actually easier to fix. You need to place the UI cards in the faction folder for the new faction that has them. Still, if you are using vanilla RTW you need to depack them first. There is a tool for that in the downloads section made by Vercingetorix. You can open the pack with it and then either make a new one with the changes said above or simple make an UI folder in Rome - Total War/data. In that UI folder you need two new folders(I am taking the greeks as example):
Rome - Total War\data\UI\UNIT_INFO\GREEK_CITIES
Rome - Total War\data\UI\UNITS\GREEK_CITIES
put the triarii file that ends with INFO.TGA in the first folder and the one that begins with # in the second.

Ok, therefore this Vercingetorix pack can change the color of the unity. And you know for case where I can download it?

No. That tool only allows you to extract the files that are packed in the vanilla game. I mean instead of putting them in a folder piece by piece they added them in a pak file. You can extract them from this pack using Vercingetorix`s tool, but editing the files it is kinda your task.

Again, there is no color "of unity" that is added on top of each unit by the game depending on the factions. The unit itself was painted like that from the beginning. If you want to change it you need to edit the textures and recolor each of them by hand.

Ok creed to have understood. Therefore it does not serve the Vercingetorix pak in order to color the units, but in order to make it, by hand must textures and the colors, just?

Vercingetorix`s tool is ONLY useful to extract the files from packs as rar is useful to extract files from an archieve pack. Nothing else.
