Hi all let me lead off with saying what an absolutely fantastic mod this is, enjoying it immensely!
Now some background before my question, I'm playing an England campaign where I have all of the island + Caen under my control and the Scots are dead. Have yet to set foot on Ireland though and here's why...
I had a full stack rebel army led by "Sean the Mauler" (a 5 or 6 star general) appear and besiege Edinburgh. No problem I thought, swiftly moved a full and half stack their and broke the seige, annhilated his army and killed the general. Quickly dumped my armies back into cities to minimize the financial damages and returned to gearing up for my conquest of Ireland. 3 turns later guess who's besieging Edinburgh again? So again I attack, annhilate and kill Sean the Mauler off. several turns later he appears yet AGAIN and this time I am thinking ok, maybe he made good on his escape the last 2 times so I'll ensure the job is done this time by assassinating him. After several attempts I finally get the thorn in my side named Sean the Mauler.
Ok great, only problem being is now from repeated sieges on Edinburgh I have had to lift with sizable armies I'm now running seriously in the red and am basically totally bankrupt (like -13,000) So I figure ok will do what I have to to come out of bankruptcy and hold off on my Ireland campaign for the time being. Release mercs, disband high maintainance units etc etc. starting to come back at about 1-1.5K / turn out of debt. This sets me back a long time in my plans but whatever, no one said being king was going to be easy. Well I was willing to accept all this until the start of my last turn. Guess who's marching on Edinburgh YET AGAIN with a full stack army, and his cousin Watt the Mauler with a half stack army marching on London? That kind of broke my resolve there.
After the lengthy telling of the tale does anyone know why this is happening, or can anyone offer some advice on how to resolve this? I feel like I am bashing my head against the wall at this point...
Anyhow thanks in advance and again a great mod!
