Black screen?

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum, but this looked me most appropriate.

Since today, when I start Forth Eorlingas, or normal Barbarian Invasion, I only get a fully black screen, after a while I hear the music playing and I can even 'click' buttons randomly and hear that sound, but still I see nothing.
Yesterday afternoon everything was still okay, and I didnt change any settings or anything else to my pc.
Anyone known with this problem?

Rebooting (several times) doesnt help by the way, I just reinstalled my graphic card driver, directX, other games like Heroes III still work, but no sign of life yet from my RTW's

Try unistalling then reinstalling RTW:BI mabye that will fix the problem.

ow i hoped i would not have to do that... would i then best first uninstall the CI/FE mod too or isnt that necessary?

I would move your saved games to another folder if you want to play them again. Then uninstall everything through add/remove programs. Delete any remaining activision folder. Restart your computer and install fresh. Once installed you might make a copy of the TW folder and keep it in a safe place in case you run into problems again sometime. Once you get the mod installed again move your saved games back and you should be set.
