if your like me and like to modify the already existing music (which is a very good selection of ben hur, conan the barb., etc.,) then (lt1956 you will not like this, lol) the 300 soundtrack is an absolute must to incorporate...the tunes are epic in quality and seem to capture the "spqr" theme very well...HBO's rome is a pretty decent soundtrack as well (good for campaign map) but if you want gritty and epic romanesque/greek/persian sound then 300 is the way to go

my thoughts exactly, I will really like to hear some of those songs from both 300 and HBO's rome in the game, but that's up to creater.

If you want some music for the campaign map (especially for the eastern factions) use the Passion of the Christ soundtrack, it has really good middle eastern themes.

I think that the music that is in SPQR is perfect , dont change it!!!

no ones asking anyone to change the downloaded music originally in the mod, but if your like me the same two tunes get a little "overwhelming" after weeks of play...so with that in mind i set out on a sort of music quest to find a wide range of anthemic/epic styles of sound and find out how to mod those tunes into gameplay...that is why this thread was started to share music ideas...i find modding in the new music to be just as fun (almost) as playing...thx to everyone for your music contributions to this thread...there have been several i have seen i will consider using...so keep the ideas pouring in...thx, hannibeau
