Loading screen goes blank

Hi,i need some help,when a battle loads the loading screen goes black,it's not a big thing but it just bugs me.Is there a way to correct this without un-reinstalling rtw?

Do you have any mods installed? Does the loading screen initially appear as always and then quickly disappear? I can probably help, but I need to know a bit more.

hey i seem 2 be having that same problem the loading screen shows up for a sec than the screen goes black with a white loading line at the bottom can u guys please help me fix this little issue im having its quite annoying thnxs

I have the problem too. Reboot can fix but it will come back after starting RTW several times.

I use nvidia fx6200 card with latest driver.

At last - someone posts some technical information!

The problem is, probably, casued by your graphics cards as otherwise the problem would be widespread.

The usual solutions - make sure that your drivers are up-to-date for a start. Even so, as aqd has posted this problem remains.

What graphic settings are being used and what is the screen resolution.

i've got that problem for over a year now, reinstalling wont help, its not a problem of a mod, as it blacks out with or without mod.
it doesnt show a faction icon on the loading screen(just a black square) then within a second it goes all black, with a white bar where the loading bar was supposed to be.
if someone knows how to fix it please tell, but for now i assume its a problem in the disk

just a normal 4-5 year old windows XP, i don't know the exact specs

Yes it's a driver problem, but .... um well.. other direct3d game just don't have the same problem.

The preferences I have tested:

In nvidia:

Texture quality: high or low
Forced anisotropic filtering: off or 2x (I found 2x is required to solve blurring bug)
Forced anti-aliasing: off or 2x (supersampling or multisampling)
Forced mipmap: on or off.
Negative LOD bias: clamp
Other performance optimizations: off

In RTW:

Anti-aliasing (RTW): off, low, highest
Resolution: 1024x768 or 1440x960
SAFE_REFRESH: TRUE or FALSE
USE_TRIPLE_BUFFER: TRUE or FALSE

I think I have tried almost everything... no difference. However, if I change the resolution after the black loading screen appears, it would be fixed... and again appear after several times of RTW starting.
