I love bill Hicks! As for people not recognizing Leary's plagiarism, it is a shame but it cannot be helped.

Is Hicks underrated in America Harm? Because I always thought he was pretty popular.

I dunno who bill hicks is but I never thought denis was that good a comedian in the first place. I found him a bit...too abrasive on my nerves.

I never liked Dennis Leary, but if I ever hear anyone praising him (imagine that) I'd most certainly slap them and sit them down and make sure they realize what a ****ing a-hole Leary is.

Just from that, I found Bill Hicks' stuff funnier than Leary's, a shame.

Comedians steal from eachother a lot actually, I remember people accusing Seth Mcfarlane (creator of Family Guy) of stealing a bunch of jokes as well.

I actually found a lot of similarities between one of Chris Rock's specials and Bill Maher's Be More Cynical... Check it out.

I'm not sure I think it was either Bigger and Blacker or Never Scared, but they had the same stuff like Bill Clinton, that one I remember clearly. I haven't heard either in a long time but I just remember they were very similar.

Ohh...yeah, you mean the "Blowjob isnt a big deal" sentiment that they both based some jokes around?

Yeah, and I think there were the drug jokes, the war on drugs. I don't mean the same jokes, but the themes of these specials were eerily similar after hearing them one after the other.

Save the black jokes... that was all Chris Rock.

Or, you know, it could be that they both have similar ideas and sentiments on those subjects. "Great minds think alike", as they say...

The most original you can be is to steal from other people and have a clear conscience.

The world has been around long enough that it has been done once or twice.

    Comedy is all about presentation.

In conclusion no one cares what the original poster had to say or what the guy who made that video had to say other than whiny little maggots that both comedians hate.

    Good day.

True, but if you're going to blatantly reuse a joke, don't butcher the original! Carlos Mencia is one comedian that should heed those words...

    No, that's unacceptable...

Err, I never was laying blame or saying this or that about it, I actually left the subject with the same sentiments you did. "Great minds alike" yada yada...

Well, chris rock was on Real Time last week so I doubt there are any hard feelings between the two. They seemed pretty friendly, maybe they willingly traded jokes?

I saw that too, and they seem to be pretty chummy, I guess maybe they just don't care or feel they have the same tastes in humor and topical comedy and such. Oh well, their both hella funny.

Well, they do say that imitation is the greatest form of compliment. Maybe Leary copying Hicks is a form of tribute?

imitation is the sincerest flattery only when you site your sources though. Otherwise it's dishonest imo.

That was messed up actually. It's clearly evident that the jokes are stolen....
