Why I can't turn off cutscenes (and my game crush)

hi guys,

i have a problem with my game. every time when i'm fighting against eastern forces (like egypt, moors, turkey), when i kill enemy general in the battle game is crushing. i check the forum and i found that i can change blocked cutscenes in the config file by changing 1 to 0. i did this but the computer is sill showing them!?!!! what the .... .
i know that he's using this cfg because i also change setup regarding movies, unlimited men during the battle and they work as i want them. it's just this one file. because of this my game unplayable unless i want to fight only against western nations. (but i had to take jerusalem) is there any other cfg file that this located in the main folder. please help.

my spec: intel core 2 duo e6400, 2g ram, gf 7900gs 512mb, asus p5nd2, vista home premium

it's probably not using that exact .cfg file

I have the same problem actually, but I had a backup copy, so I just copied and pasted it back in, and it worked.
So, sorry, don't really know how to help you
