Can't believe nobody has even started a thread about South Park. New season is two weeks in and it's off to maybe the best start of any season.

New episode (Season 11 episode 3) is on tonight, someone is giving all the kids at school Lice but they don't know who.

Here's the previous two FULL episodes if you missed em!

Really? I thought half of it was really good and half of it was really bad. The half where it was about the snuke was bad. The half where it was about the terrorist conspiracy was really good and funny. (especially Queen Elizabeth II shooting herself in the mouth)

Southpark does a good job whenever they spoof British people, did anyone here ever see the Pip episode where they spoofed Charles Dickens novel Great Expectations? And they had Malcom Mcdowell as a narrator with the great opening line of "Hello! I'm a British person."

I only ever saw a few episodes. One where Mr.Garrison (I think) was saying to his dad "Don't you love me dad? Why didn't you molest me as a child? Other kids were molested by their fathers" or something.

Man that episode was so sick and twisted I laughed my arse off.

Also one where Osama had a tiny willy - I think a magnifying glass was involved....

LOL, i'm laughing jsut thinking about the end when the blond guy goes
    "your oldest enemy"
    "the russians",
    "no older",
    "the germans",
    "no older",
    "the germans,"
    "no"
    "ehh you mean"
and then they cut to the brit ships of the line.
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

This season is turning out to be great which for a show in its 11th season is pretty good nowadays.

I still think seasons 1 and 2 were the best. Of course there has been great episodes after that, but the majority of the late work hasn't been that good.

I think this new season has had a very poor start and sadly I don't expect it to get any better.

It depends on what you're looking for. If you watch South Park for the shock value, then the early seasons are better. But if you like more satirical stuff (like me) then the newer episodes are great.

I watch it to laugh... it is comedy afterall.

They've always had satire and messages in their episodes so that hasn't changed.

I just think they were better at making you laugh in the older episodes. The jokes in the new ones have become a bit stale and repetitive.

But like I said, they release some great episodes now as well.

I actually think the earlier episodes focused more on comedy and less on political/social satire. The newer ones are less funny, but more relevant. Theyve gotten used to keeping up with the news so now they base almost all their southparks on some litle tidbit that is or was big in the news.

The "Cartman sucks" episode is great! I've seen it a few minutes ago and laughed a lot really. It's really original and shows how religion interprets all these thoughts, you know.

I like political and social commentary a lot, but sometimes the other types of humor they like to try turns me away. And I can't help but feel the meaning of much of the better humor is lost unless you know about the issues.
