As I said before...looking great...cool looking units, blend betwean east and west.But none of those fully..cool.Georgia would be cool ortodox addition to game.
Also i like playing as turks and i always thought that there is very little to conquer before europe :p
Having cilician armenia as well would just kick ass...middel east would look perrrrfect!
I wonder what other factions Zeph is planing to add?

As speaking realistically Gazi-Husrevbeg.I plan 2 new factions,one in the East and one in the west.

in near east (XI-XIII c. and later in XIV c.) was 3 major Christian power, who cretaed geopolitical situation against muslims empires (Turks, Mameluks, later Timurids and pagan Mongols). this powers was:

1. Byzantine
2. Georgia
3. Crusaders

and Cilician Armenia was a allies Crusaders and later Mongols.

after Manzikert battle Byzantine lost old imperial power before Crusaders cam in Palestine. in XII c. Georgia controled whole transcaucasia, defeated muslims COALITION army in several major battle (battle of Didgori 1121, Battle of Shakor 1195, battle of Basian 1206..... see this battles in www.wikipedia.com) and became as Caucasian Empire, really powerfull major christian state. in 1204, Georgians as ally of Crusaders, ocupied Byzantines lands on the south-east branch of Black sea and established vassal state of Georgia - Trabyzon "Empire".... Georgians plans, conquer holy land, refused only Mongols invision...

and I think, it should be not historycal accurate if Georgia will not representive in game such Byzantine and Crusaders.

did you knows, thet quin of Byzantine was Georgian princess Elena, douther of Georgian king David the Builder? ... she was a wife of Emperor Isaak (son of Alexius I ).

I have friend from georgia, man i didnt know that georgians have completly different language and letter than russian..talk about my ignorance!I thought they spoke russian...anyways...great addition to the game...

hehe , frend, Georgian have original alphabet and language almost then 3500 years .... when Georgian wrote holy Bible in Georgian (V c. ) , Russian and others dosn't were as nation ... don't angry, if I sad true . cheers.

my new unit - Khevsur warrior:




"Khevsureti one of the most beautiful high-mountainous corners of east Georgia. There during centuries it was created unique culture and originality Khevsurs, Pshavs, Tush’s and other mountain Georgian tribes. One of basic elements of this original culture is systematized military art. Khevsurs, in other as well as other mountaineers, perfect own art of fencing and protection in fight. In Middle Ages Хевсурские the pedestrian and horse groups created special divisions in royal army of Georgia. Proud and aggressive Khevsurs, being free and independent from the feudal lords, were often called in bodyguard of the Georgian kings. Khevsurs are dressed beat in a chain armor, it is frequent their headdress from a chain armor closed all person Khevsur warrior. Thus before enemies there was not knowing fear, violent and at times a mysterious soldier without the person which scared to enemies. "
