The Iron Maiden Thread

In response to the Saxon and Motorhead threads.

God already knows my devotion to Iron Maiden

All I've got to say is: Greatest. Metal. Band. Ever.

Hmm, I don't want to create bad thoughts but ain't Iron Maiden like metal envolved with hard rock vocals sometimes?...
I love them, but prefer Motorhead (Lemmy's voice is unique, you know...).

Yesterday, I was seeing the past threads, that were like abandoned, and saw Motorhead (on the 8th or 9th page...) if it wasn't me, many of you wouldn't remember that thread, hehe. (this moptop smile sure is a fan of Iron Maiden! ). I don't want to look like an idiot saying this, though, just felt more relaxed saying this.

Yes, and Bruce Dickinson's isn't.

Iron Maiden is metal. They are New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Stylized after original heavy metal and punk rock. NWOBHM is in fact a response to punk rock. A response so loud and strong that it changed the face of metal forever.

Iron Maiden is by far the best NWOBHM band there ever was. Perhaps even the best metal band ever. But my vote shall always rest with Priest. Rob Halford is a god.

Absolutely great, it's been my favourite for about 6 years. I never get enough of it. Only one thing that pisses me off: I've never heard them live. I don't know if they're coming next summer, but I can't see it anyway due to military service... Maybe the summer after that. Some day, some day...

I like playing Carmageddon 2 on some iron maiden. I especially appreciate the moment when Be quick or be dead beings. \o
