-Adds the faction County of Flanders to MTW2.
    -Faction has over 30 units.
-County of Flanders start with the province of Bruges.
-Faction campaign description, units, banners, faction logo, merchants, diplomats,...
    -Historical faction Leader.
-Unique units such as the Badelaar Militia, Goedendag Militia, Flemish Militia Cavalry, Flemish Merchant troops...
-The Army relies heavily on Militia units and the better equiped merchants.

    Spoiler for old, redundant version
MADE FOR MTW 1.1 NOT TESTED ON 1.2.
    Installation:

Extract the RAR in too the MTW2 Folder. (for instance "c:\program files\MTW2")
After the extraction is complete you'll find flandersfaction.bat in the MTW2 Folder, simply click this twice to run the mod

NOTE: if you want the small ingame movies to work (such as the assasination movies for example) do this:

Open the Data folder in MTW2 Directory, then open the fmv folder and select the following folders:
    -assasinate
    -event
    -generic
    -infiltrate
    -sabotage

Right click and then click copy.

Then open the flandersfaction folder in the MTW2 directory (NOT THE FLANDERSFACTION FOLDER IN THE DATA DIRECTORY), open the fmv folder
and paste the folders you copied before in it. Done.

    hi,

I installed the mod just as you said, the bat file is in my M2TW directory, I can start the mod, but the flemish are not available as a playing faction. In the descr_strat file it says they are available, but I can't select them when starting a grand campaing. I dont even see their banner. Do I need a patch, or is it something else?

The faction is there you just can't see the banner yet so I'm afraid you will have to click in the open 'till you hit it This will be fixed asap

Extract the contents of the rar file (using winrar) into the Medieval 2 folder. There is a readme included in the rar for further instructions.

    @Dezzrx
I want to put this mod into another mod, which files do I have to modify? I assume the modeldb, edu, edb, descr.camp but what others? I haven't yet extracted the files into the mod I want to add it to, probably would answer my question, but could you let me know which files have to be modified and which I can just drop in the appropriate folder?
    Thanks

Its similar to Winzip except this is used for .rar files.

I would say almost every file excluding the texture files (.texture, .dds., .tga,..). Best way would be to crossreference the files of the two mods.

try taking the contents of the flandersfaction1 folder and put everything straight into the mtw2 folder.
