custom battle problem...

i have a problem fighting in custom battle mode. i cant even enter it.
i just found out, have actually played chiv in like 6 days, but not seen it (this just shows how exellent the campaign map is, i am a custom battle mod guy

)
so, i was a bit annoyed with the battle mode, when for example fighting for a city, when selecting a unit, the green arrows that normally pops up, did not. this annoyed me, and when i found out how to reverse this thing, i tried it out, along with some other couple of things in the prefenrences.txt.
but when i should try it out in custom battle mode, it did not work. i selected a unit for france and one for aragon, and pressed the continue-arrow, but then i got back to the first site, where you choose your battlefield and soforth.
this is very annoying, since everything else works perfeclty fine!!

any idea what this might be?

and i'm very sorry if this has been posted already, looked around abit, but could not find an answer..

you must download tye "hotfix", that is located somewhere in this page.

i already has the hotfix installed! that's my problem..

EDIT: i tried to install the hotfix over again, but it still did'nt work
no i've re-installed chiv in a new folder, and i've downloaded the hotfix again...

EDIT 2: yeah, now it works

have NO idea what i did wrong, but nevemind..

you must have not installed the hotfix in the same chivalry directory,well our next patch ( set to come out soon ! ) will hopefully not have any problems, that way there shouldnt be so much confusion

....
