Default how to make skins appear in the game?

    Hello

I've got some skins that I cant place in the game, the skins are Zhuges unit compliation and I dont know how to put them in game, I've tried modding the greek general to have the Achiles skin but the mod only comes with one CAS. file and the greek general originally has four/ five, what do I do? (by the way, there's no readme.)

I've read the bunch of how to's and the rest didn't seem helpful, I know how to install textures but dont know how to put the unit into the game, modifying the unit_battle text folder seems like a solution (moddign the greek geenral to Achilles,) but I dont know how to do it. The how to's dont help and there's only one flexi model i nthe Achilles mod.

Since you are new to modding I will supply you with the info to change the greek general into achillies.

btw I included the wrong version of the achillies model (with no helmet) in the initial download, i have since uploaded a new version of my compilation pack that has the right verion of achillies included.... now back to the tutorial.

    Open the file

    activision/rome - total war/data/descr_model_battle

find the entry for the greek general and replace it with this

    type greek_general
    skeleton fs_dagger
    skeleton_horse fs_hc_swordsman
    skeleton_elephant fs_forest_elephant_rider
    skeleton_chariot fs_chariot_sword
    skeleton_camel fs_hc_swordsman
    indiv_range 40
    texture greek_cities, data/models_unit/textures/achillies_h.tga
    texture seleucid, data/models_unit/textures/achillies_h.tga
    texture macedon, data/models_unit/textures/achillies_h.tga
    texture thrace, data/models_unit/textures/achillies_h.tga
    model_flexi data/models_unit/achillies_h.cas, 15
    model_flexi data/models_unit/achillies_h.cas, 30
    model_flexi data/models_unit/achillies_h.cas, 40
    model_flexi data/models_unit/achillies_h.cas, max
    model_tri 400, 0.5f, 0.5f, 0.5

now go to the activision/rome - total war/data/models_unit folder and add the model (achillies_h.cas).

Then go to the activision/rome - total war/data/models_unit/textures folder (if it doesn't exist then create it) and add the texture file which is achillies_h.tga

    play the game.

Dont take this wrong I am very grateful, Achilles even does that jump attack he did on Hector (AWESOME.) but the helmet on his chest is missing, he still looks cool, just not greeksih. (glitch?) Great mod though

Not sure what you mean, but like I said in an easlier post I included the wrong version of the achillies model in the initial download, but if you download the file again then you will get the right version of the model.

Sorry to insist but where is the export_unit.txt in order to create Achillies
    is it not needed ?;
What about Units & Units info in the UI folder ?
Do I have to create it myshelf ?
