you may need to regrant it permission if your running a firewall since the core is different.

My first instinct would be to check your firewall permissions like Doono suggested. Has this always happened with firefox or only after you upgraded to 2.0.0.2? And Internet Explorer continues to work fine?

    IE continues to run fine.
Even after I added firefox to the exeptions list of my firewall it still bring up the same problem.

Have you tried turning off the firewall entirely? Are you using more than one firewall?

To be honest it sounds like a firewall problem, it could you have two firewall's running so make sure (if your running XP) windows firewall isn't turned on alongside a third party firewall. Besides that but your better off with IE anyway it's more secure, uses far less system resources. Or better still uses Oprea!

Sorry, Leonidas The Lion, but I also dunno how to help, in fact I also have a similar problem:

These problem is happening to me with hi5... it says something then it opens another window and says if I want to report that following to Windows or not... If anyone knows the possible solution for this, please PM me.
    I can't solve this however...

Hmm firefox seems to work fine for me. Just disable any third party f walls and use the windows one. I get along fine with avg free and windows defender with windows firewall turned on. I also have an nat so have to to all sorts of fun stuff like port triggering.

You could try uninstalling firefox, and then install a clean new version.
Just remember to export your bookmarks and make sure you know all your passwords.

My comp came back fron service with some new programs and such.
Is there a way of checking which firewalls are active?

well if their not in your system tray try turning on easycleaner to see whats running and whats doing things. Also try to see how mozilla connects to the internet, make sure it jives with your net connection.
Also do you even get internet? your network or whatever might not be connected.

Check to see if you have a 3rd party firewall running. Then check to see if you have windows firewall running (control panel). Don't EVER has two firewalls running at the same time.
