    Default Construction queue

I think it would be far more realistic if you could have as many buildings in the construction queue - at the same time- that you can afford. For instance you could build roads and a grain market if you had six thousand dollars at the same time in the same city. Or any number of buildings that you have the money for. Is it possible to do this?

Hmm. That is an interesting idea.

However, it would considerably speed up development which I'm not sure would be good. Slow and easy is the TLR way.

I'm not certain how you would do this but I'm sure the setting is around somewhere. I'll let you know if I see it.

Thanks, it would be great to know if its even possible.

I thought about the speeded up the game aspect and I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't. For example in my current Byzantine campaign I wasn't making much money in the begining, so if I just used all that money to build up one town I'd still be neglecting others. I think the build times that you have set are perfect and I think that is another reason everything would balance out.

I like this idea too. Tho, I think that a building que of 2 buildings at once is enough, the builder-citizens in a province cant be working on to many project at a time. And for the speed factor. As Zmoney said, if you build two things a one place, your treasury will take a seroius blow, and you probably can't afford to build at the same phase at other cities.

yeah, arne thats the idea. I think that would get the game more strategic, cause you can concentrate your building program. e.g. as byzantium you can install antioch as a satellite of your realm with buildings which otherwise only major centres have, like constantinople or milan. (it would be interesting how the AI handles the opportunity)

Good points. I test it out if I find the setting.
