    Three Kings
A film about four Army soldiers stealing gold shorty after the Peace Fire in the Gulf War. The characters and dialogue exchange within the film are top notch.
I labeled the Topic "A Foreshadowing" because of the events in the film.
-At the beginning of the film two officers are arguing, "we should have taken out Sadam, we should have taken out the Iraqis! (Clooney's char.)" "What and have another Vietnam, be bogged down here for the next 10 years! (the Colonel)."
-When Walberg's character is taken captive he has an interesting conversation with his captor/torturer they reverse their roles in their dialogue. The soldier imagines his wife and child being bombed and crushed by their home.

Just a very good war film. Most films with Clooney are quite good. Even though I cant stand the guy personally, he makes some good movies.

I love clooney, hes a smart guy imo. politically and socially active, above any scandals, uses his power as an actor to help people.

I love these actors, theres such a paradox in hollywood of the scandalous, no good trashy people that get all the attention and then theres this pocket of people like your clooneys and your angelina jolies and your mia farrows who actually have a sense of morality and reality, who do what they can to either donate to worthwile causes or bring attention to worthwile causes.

The sad thing is that the media doesnt report enough on the actors who do good things as opposed to those who seem eternally committed to F'ing up or being selfish and stupid and irritating.

I loled at the part where the guys describe their jobs, and one guy just shoots stuffed animals with a shotgun. Classic!

God, that was one of the best parts!

When Marky mark is in the torture chair: "Hey my main man (iraqi accent), why you come middle east?" Then he pours oil down walberg's throat. Damn, wicked and kinda funny in a dark and ironic way. (The soldier gets tortured by the oil he has come to 'stabalize')

The movie foreshadowed the Operation Iraqi Freedom. In that, we would come back to finish Sadam and 'free' the people. And get that oil. That's what the film said. It's also very entertaining.
