Enjoyed. I see the Old Guard were performing at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, thats a fantastic show.
The 3rd Infantry Regiment has another more somber duty, all funerals at Arlington are performed by them. It is also a combat unit, though only one company has been deployed within recent decades (to the Horn of Africa).
Danzig - I couldn't either, I stab myself putting my badge unto my uniform...
Anyways, to pre-empt this. This is not a US verse anyone thread or one about politics. Its about enjoying the skills these men have perfected into an art.

Very true, that last video was incredible. The amount of training and discipline those men showed was quite an impressive sight. Whirling bayonets inches away from the Drill Sergeants face and he never blinks or flinches, the control and synchronization was very pleasant to watch. Quite an interesting group of videos overall but that last one really impressed me.
I chose one from each major component of the 3rd Infantry Regiment, minus the funeral companies. The second one is of men performing the most honorable duty in the US military, the Tomb Guards. They guard the Tomb of the Unknowns in a silent vigil.
