hi,im gonna buy a new soundcard but all i know is that my vid cad is AGP does that mean the sound card must be AGP to?

No, as far as I know, they're only for PCI (regular, not PCI-e).

Sound cards normally come in the PCI format the type of graphics card you use has nothign to do with your choice of sound card.

should do, im pretty sure head phones just slot into the speakers jack so yer any sound card should work.
