    Default Macedonians

Here's KLA's hypaspist that I'm planning on using for the various Hellenistic factions (and doing a bit of retouching to)

Please, ideally anything post Alexander i.e 300BC onwards. The more scans I can see of stuff the better it should be.

To ask the question again. What do we want hypaspists to be?
Spear and sword or javelin and sword? Currently I've got them as semi-fast infantry which gives them more mobility as this is what they were.

i will need to re-read what the books say on Hypastists but spear/sword sounds right, since they protected the king and were elite infantry, they'd need spears to fight off cavalry.

Now I've got the hang of this modelling lark, I think we can make a better one, using one of SoR's models, although I'd be keen to keep the helmet concept - love the wings!....unless someone tells me it's totally made up.

Makedonian units from the DBA site:

An Auxiliary (light inf.), Slinger, and Pikeman:

    Light cav and Heavy cav:

This is described as a 'warband,' and I take it to be a Celtic mercenary recruited by Macedonians (which reminds me, we should add Celtic mercs to the Macedonian AOR):
