Ugh, crash to desktop playing as Bactrian RTR plat 1.8

Everything's been going fine until 243 BC. I hit end of turn and the game crashes when it gets to the Romans' turn. I tried installing the historical events fix and I changed the year using RomeSage savegame editing utility, but neither of these worked. Any ideas?

RomeSage doesn`t work correctly with the RTW v1.5 on which RTRPE is based.

1. Try using the "toggle_fow" command and watch to see exactly when does the CTD occur. If you don`t know how to do it then: press "~" during the game, type "toggle_fow", hit "enter" and again "~" to make the panel disappear. You can now see all the map without the fog of war. Click "end turn" and watch where does the CTD apear.
2. Try runing the game with -show_err and -nm triggers enabled. This is how you do it:

BTW, have you also made a post at RTR? It says there the year 241...

I was already using the -show_err command, but I'm not really sure what to do with the information when the error report shows up. It won't let me copy and paste the technical details of the error message, but it does say that the error report will use the following file: 5fd_appcompat.txt -- from a temp directory. It's just a temp file for the error process though and goes away before I can open it.

Anyway, I watched what was going on and the crash occured as Rome was moving some random navy in the northern part of the adriatic sea.

Yea same thing, I tried reinstalling from scratch checked all my drivers and then ran the saved game again. I ran another game about ten turns earlier and the same thing occurs. I will try the error commands to see what lurks beneath, any ideas? Actually curious if someone will run the saved game to see if it occurs on another system?

I have a problem to cross Africa with my Numidian diplomatic because in the short part of map is imposible to pass... Is imposible the war betwen carthagians and egyptians by land. I saw this...

Other thing... ¿Why nobody make a good mod in which is been used two slot free of RTW? For example Epirus faction and Maurya faction...

See this image... I tried to make a total conversion of the free factions but when I was changing mod_1.pak with Xpak and fileparser the image in the game there wasn´t good. Maybe I need some program for the pictures. I used Acdsee and
Paint for this changes... There are some format in which i have to work ?? Can someone explained me ?

there is a existing epirus mod
and a other which brings mauryan kingdom
but MNM2 includes these two

I saw this two mods but would like mix it for me. I´m going to see Metropolis Naval mod but I prefer in RTR PE 1.8. Anyway, thank but I need know the formats and programs to use and change banners and simbols... The interfaces and captain banners for a clean conversion in the PAK files.

Well, I edit this image files with Photoshop. The problem with other programs is that these files use alpha channels so you need some software that recognizes them.
