A suggestion about a the reinforcement system
i've been playing DLV for a time, but i think you should make an option "yes- no" about the reinforcement coming or not when a settlement is being sieged
once i got a full stack in a city, when it's being sieged by a 1/3 enemy stack, first, it's obvious that i didn't need reinforcement ,then ,automatically they chop down 4000 or so in my account and NO NEW companies appeared since the city unit queue was full
your reinforcement system gave me a hard time, i was in a big war, the enemy sieged almost every settlements at my border, of course they couldn't take a single one, but it did hurt my economy as hell, everytime they sieged one city, a big useless half stack appear for 4000, with that money, i could build alot of good ones, after several time like that, i went bankrupt
so could you make an option "yes,no" that will say smth like :" your settlement is being sieged,blablah ,do you wish to call the local folks for reinforcement ?"
