ITW battle sound system for EB0.81a!

Features:
- Completely different battle sound system (when you engage a melee fight with your units against the enemy)
- Up to 3 different Horn of War sounds for faction group (when you click on the rally troop button of your General)

this is a minimod for EB0.81a to use part of the battle sound system of Iberian Total War who use a completely original in-battle sound system.
it is Save-Game compatible, and BI compatible (it works if you play EB with the BI .exe)

i made this minimod after have asked to the ITW Team to allow me to use some of their files:
So the credits and my thanks to their team:

Asdrubal_Barca (CeltiberoAsdrúbal) as the main responsible,
Idibil (CeltiberoIdibil) as designer of the system and searcher for sounds,
Monkwarrior (CeltiberoRamiroI) as coordinator of the mod

REMEMBER that i have just used and modified some stuff created by this people,
so if you dont like this minimod, all the bashing go to me (Artaserse, who have tweaked some of their stuff) and not to the ITW team (who gave me the permission to use their files).

***** HOW TO INSTALL ******

(1)
first of all, make a backup of this 3 files (I repeat, make a backup of this 3 files!):

Descr_Sounds_Music
Descr_Sounds_units_Fight
Descr_Sounds_Units_Anims

You can find this 3 files here:

"folder where you have installed EB" \ EB \ data

(2)
Extract the content of the
"ITW battle sound system for EB0.81a" to your EB folder.
IMPORTANT!!! not in the data folder, but in your main EB folder
example:
if you have EB installed in a folder called EB0.81aMOD than extract in this folder.

(3) delete the map.rwm file from the "folder where you have installed EB" \ EB \ data \world \ maps \ base (im not sure this is necessary, but it dont hurts...)

***** HOW TO UNISTALL *****

delete this 3 files from "folder where you have installed EB" \ EB \ data:

Descr_Sounds_Music
Descr_Sounds_units_Fight
Descr_Sounds_Units_Anims

And replace them with the files you have previously backed up!

This minimod is completely reversible and save-game compatible. So if you dont like and you want to turn back to your old way, just follow the instrucions above

Was this not also used in RTRPE's Metro-Naval mod ... if it is the same then this is a very cool mod indeed I love the horn sounds it made when charging etc. there was no music anymore but battles sounded like real battles very neat. I will have to give this a try especially since you were so kind to explain how easy it is to reverse ... and its save game compatability!

hi dutch, I dont know if it's the same of the metro mod, i haven't tryied it on PE (i had it on the old 6.0gold), but this little mod, still uses the EB music as they are in the standard installation, they are just "mixed" with the battle sounds, a sort of compromise.

cuz this made a really great atmosphere in my .8 install, and EB without isn't the same
