I am starting to hate upload sites! Now the first hotfix should be available again. Please follow the logical order: RTR PE, 77 BC, hotfix 1, hotfix 2.

How would I go about installing the 1.2 hotfix?

Extract the content of the 77 BC-1.2.Hotfix.rar.
Drop the resulting data folder inside the RTW directory where 77 BC is installed. It will say that the folder already exists and ask you if you want to overwrite. Answer affirmatively.

Or, as it is only a file, extract the hofix.rar file. Copy the Marcus_Camillus_4TPY.txt file and paste it inside data\scripts\show_me folder of your current 77 BC install, replacing the existing file.

Please remember that the 1.1. hotfix is also needed for a correct performance of the modification.

EDIT: the mod_switch version of 77 BC - Twilight of the Republic is available at the first post of this thread.

everytime i get some kind of error, i have installed it 3 times EXACTLY following the instructions, now theres something of ''new_faction not found'' or something like this, its really annoying me! I cant even start up this game now

Well, it looks like your install is a bit messed. I think I should hire someone to write my instructions because I am really bad at it

. Well, let us start from the beginning: what kind of install have you done, the mod_switch or the one that requires RTR PE?

i always download the mod switch, and i got RTW gold, dunno if that got anything to do with it, i install it in RTW folder, should i do it in the bi one? It might be i make one big stupid mistake

I have RTW Eras and I have no problem so...I do not think that is the issue. Please do some quick investigations:

- Firstly, if you have installed the mod_switch, then you should have a folder named "77bc" inside your RTW folder. In fact, the 77bc folder should be inside the same directory as the BI folder.

- Secondly, is your BI install patched to 1.6.? I also bought the RTW Gold edition (I own a lot of versions of RTW. I am sick, I know) and BI was not patched to 1.6. so I had a lot of problems with modding.

That is all I can think of for the moment. If you cannot solve this, please post an screenshot of your RTW directory and of the shortcut you have made to BI with the -mod:77bc -nm -Show_err

it never shows up IN the BI directory just in the RTW one and i think i got 1.6... invasio barbarorum works(different copy of the map so not in same territory(sp)) and thats on 1.6 so...

edit:its exactly as you say and i keep having problems

BTW i have it working without the hotfixes, starting a battle is a pain but i can do it, il do the rest later

downloading it now, i am playing a campaign already though, but the objectives are hard to remember sometimes

I agree with that. This issue is going to be fixed in version 2.0. For the moment, pay attention to the advisor as it will remind you the mission objectives when there are two years years and one turn left, respectively.

The last reminder is of not much help, except to add anxiousness to the player, in fact

sorry didnt have time to read the whole thread just a quick question. the links you provided are these the latest versions of the mod? any updates at all? wanna download the latest version went to the RTR forums but their down again! cant access it.
