    Hi Zeph, long time no see I just wondered, will you consider asking devs of Lithuania mod to use their models and textures for Lithuanians featured in CAE, as they look awsome. That would just be amazing and it will add some distinctivness betwean factions.

    Hello Gazi.. Good to see you.. I've seen the very nice units of the Lithuania mod.. If I decide to include them I need to cancel some of my lithuanian units... since I've reached the max. unit number..

    But I haven't decided whether to include it or not.

    Hi there, your mod looks really good.

    There is just one suggestion I would give:

    Change the Russian starting position from Novgorod to Kiev & Halych, as this would be more historically accurate (Kiev was the most significant Rus principality before the mongol invasions, and controlled the area around Kiev, plus the principality of Halych directly and had nominal control over other Rus regions). http://www.euratlas.com/travel_time/...east_1100.html

    well as the country is called russian PRINCIPALITIES it means it consists of both Novgorod and Kiev. So the Russians start with both Kiev and Novgorod.

    As far as I know they were parted as the "Kievan Rus" and as the principality of Novgorod and in Russian lands there were many principalities in the 13th centuries and they weren't united..

    Halych is a Poland region by default and the Russian principalities start out as at least 4 regions.

    So at that point I must say that I am not up for this suggestion but thank you for it.

    This is true,in order to emphasize the development of strength and the change of unification of russian principalities,in the 16th and 15th centuries I decided to name Russia as the russian principalities..

    Of course this is historically very arguable.

    Allright then, sounds reasonalbe.

    However, I think Halych should be rebel and orthodox instead of polish and catholic, but thats just a minor point.

    Again Thanks a lot for bringing this point.I dare say this is a minor point but from another perspective this is very important for historical accuracy..

    But that's sometimes the problem you need to decide between the historical accuracy and game issues.. For instance Wallachia wouldn't be there in the first place,being a faction that was historically built in the 14th century by Basarab I.. But I just couldn't resist featuring them,and making them a directly playable faction from the start.

    I think teh ignorance in historical accurancy when it comes to factions in this mod, is what have made this mod one of the best.

    Tabriz ( and hopefuly Baku) should not be Khwarezmian cities in 1080 if historical accuracy was so important. But now Zeph didn't care abput historical accuracy and we have a fun faction to play as. the same goes for KoJ, Teutons and Wallachia.

    hi just wondering this mod is it fin and is it simple to install like troy mod where you just select a install location and it does it for you plz post back the mod looks really cool and has been recomended.

    Hey don't make it sound like I'm completely ignorant about the historical accuracy regarding the factions..

    Don'T worry It has its own installer program that when you double-click on it,it just takes care of the rest.Very simple.You don't need to select the install location unless your mtw2 is installed under your games folder.

    hi, me again going to install tommorrow hopefully but one main thing is i know nothing about mods and such so once i install CAE 1.3 do i then install
    DOWNLOAD CAE V1.3 BUG-CTD FIXER AFTER INSTALLING V1.3

    or is this already taken care of in the 1.3 version.

    ps some of the posts seem to sugest you have to delete certain files and know what you are actually doing plz tell me this was before 1.3

    and finally a funny pic

    Well since I've already added the fixer to the mod,and to the upload;No you don't need to download and install CTD-Bug fixer anymore...

    Well,if you have installed CAE before and is preparing to install a newer version of CAE,after having it uninstalled you need to manually delete the CloudsAcrossEurope folders that remain in those directories:

    -Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War
    -Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data

    That's all.
