    Default Machiavello 2.0

    I've just released the 2.0 version of my mod Machiavello. Main features:

    1) 31 factions are now playable!
    - Kingdom of England;
    - Kingdom of France;
    - Kingdom of Denmark;
    - Holy Roman Empire;
    - Kingdom of Poland;
    - Kingdom of Hungary;
    - Ottoman Empire;
    - Mameluke Sultanate;
    - Kingdom of Merinids;
    - Kingdom of Castile;
    - Kingdom of Aragon;
    - Kingdom of Portugal;
    - County of Savoia;
    - Duchy of Milan;
    - Republic of Venice;
    - Republic of Genoa;
    - Republic of Florence;
    - Papal States;
    - Kingdom of Naples;
    - The Golden Hordes;
    - Aztech Empire;
    - Kingdom of Ireland;
    - Kingdom of Scotland;
    - Duchy of Burgundy;
    - Kingdom of Bohemia;
    - Republic of Novgorod;
    - Byzantine Empire;
    - Serbian Empire;
    - Kingdom of Hafsids;
    - New Maya Empire;
    - Independent Reigns.

    2) New maps and factions' introductions.

    3) New factions' sets (estate, army, victory condition, ...).

    4) Cared historical events' chronology (apart from the discovery of America).

    5) 2 turns in 1 year.

    6) Landbridges deleted.

    7) Positions and names of regions, cities, character edited.

    8) non-historical units deleted.

    9) buildings for Aztecs inserted.

    10) American coasts edited (more space for docking).

    is the first versiaon required? and are there any spacific insallation instructions?

    NO, Machiavello 1.0 is not required.
    Regionmod 2.0 IS REQUIRED.
    You'll find all instructions in the readme file, ask me if you need help

    Israeli:
    You can find the "Tools" folder in your M2TW Folder, after you have unpacked you'll find the folder "...\data\ui
    That is where you'll find the units and unit_info folder

    *** IMPORTANT ***

    Some players told me about a systematic crash to desktop of Machiavello 2.0 when the date 1419 is reached.
    I located the error in "The Golden Hordes" factions.
    This is the link for the fix (waiting for 2.1 version, it delete "The Golden Hordes" faction ):

    no, i've just replaced in new factions the units of the old ones (in strategic map), while in battles the new factions' units appears without textures (green coloured).

    Erm... theres lots of bugs and CTD's related to the faction "mongols" i suggest that you see to it, it makes the game unplayable :S

    Machiavello is a great Mod.
    I had the known problem that the game crashes in 1419 (because of the Mongols?), so I tried the fix. But now I can't start new campaigns anymore. When I try to start the campaign, the game stops before the intro-video is played, the screen goes black and I have to restart the computer.
    How can this be fixed?

    That sounds wicked cool, except I would recommend several things to perfect it...

    1) I know it sounds like an italian mod, but you added quite alot of italian factions, which could make italy cramped and some factions would end up being destroyed really fast.

    I know this from playing the Portvcal mod, they added 2 spanish factions which ends up being cramped in iberia and the factions there end up getting wiped out the first few turns.

    They also added 2 italian factions which also get wiped out fast due to the crampiness in that region.

    The factions you added are good, but it can cause problems like that during the campaign.

    2) I don't know if you did this yet but have you edited the battle system to make battle animations more frantic and raise the defense of all units for longer battles.

    Other than those I would say due to the added factions this mod could be placed in the top 10 best.

    ARRRGGG, can't get to work...going to destroy computer...need help...hope fading fast...

    Installed the map mack via the .exe, downloaded the mod itself and tried unpacking it to my desktop and then moving it, and unpacking it directly to the games directory. What should i do different?

    Default avast! finds a virus in R&Pmod

    hi,
    I download Regions&Provinces 2.0 mod from this site and from filefront too... but ,when i try to install it, avast finds a win32trojan-gen(vc) and js.feebs family, then avast deletes the file .exe...what do you think about?

    I'm going to release the new version of Machiavello, it will solve many bugs and it won't need Regionmod.
