I would think so. Most of the pics on this forum are off google, or edited off google. If the original posters somewhere on the web who took those pics atcually bothered to chase us up in an internet forum, we'd probablly be more in debt than an unemployed sex addict with seven penises living next to a brothel.

I don't see why not, as Garb used a screen cap of a scene from the film Fight Club in the Rules thread. The film is clearly the inspiration for this sub-forum so we could use it as the official logo.

Well there was no copyright symbol on the logo. Maybe it's not copyright.

It is the DVD cover of Fight Club, the film. So no we cannot steal it and say it is our invention, but we can still use it, after all we all use google images.

I'd like to suggest "Super Debates" of hot shots, say the debates of TWC members who win the debater awards of this year. Related thread:

Best Political Poster

Do not do unto others as they should do unto you. Their tastes may not be the same.

I think many of us would love to see a splendid gladiator fight between the best debater and the best philosopher poster (philosophers tend to be good general debaters). And a fight 'tween the best political poster and the best historical poster.

Alternatively, a debate between the 1st and 2nd best (voted) political poster, 1st and 2nd best historical poster etc.

They could choose any given topic, or we could define some topics for them in advance, and they could choose from the list.

Powerwizard, I have been way ahead of you! We've [me and Senno] been thinking about that for along while now, since the awards were announced. Of course the winners are welcome to come here and test their metal and defend their title, but details have not been worked out yet. I'll get back to you all on that.
