I was wondering what the best TV progs are in America at the mo? Over here it's got to be Top Gear.

It must just be "American Idol" now when the generation of american "just you are special!*!comercialjingle!*" kids come to age and starts to show up on everyother reality show its a laugh from start to end!

Heroes, anyone of the of 2 million CSI shows, etc.

My favorite thing about CSI is that you can watch an episode then leave it for months until you watch another one. What I am saying is that unlike Lost you don't have to watch it all to know whats going on. Brilliant stuff!

Yeah, Heroes is pretty darn good...I'd say the original CSI is the best though. And if you like cop dramas Law and Order SVU is pretty good too. Not too much in the comedy category right now except South Park and Scrubs. Re runs of Seinfeld, Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond are always good...
The History Channel is currently in the midst of "Barbarian Week" always awesome!!!

Too right they have gone on for far too long. They will be replaced with some other new, shiny and original s***e. All of our phone in gambling TV progs are getting suspended at the mo. Do you get them Stateside?

If theres so many why do British networks lump us with NCIS (It's so over the top) and Killer instinct (The main charactor is orange!) Also, NCIS has David McCallum in it so everytime I'm at my mothers I have to watch it! Grrrrr

Thankfully Killer instinct lasted a short time.

I'm not sure which one it was but I swear one episode centered around the murder of young women...by trained spiders!

I enjoy the occasional Battlestar Galactica, a little Office, some 30 Rock, and the occasional reality show to fill my guilty pleasure quotient.

Do you watch British or American Office? I have seen both and trying not to be biased the British is only just better. With regards to reality shows they're getting a tad tedious thats all.

The British "Office" is way better...it actually makes me cringe when I watch it. The American version is a little more on the silly side...still funny but in a different way. Ricky Gervais is hilarious...

I'll tell you what shows are worth watching.

Most shows over here are ok and all the same. You've got a bunch of similar CSI type shows, a bunch of similar Law & Order type shows, and a bunch of medial type shows that are similar. Out of those I'd take to watching the original Law & Order, none of the CSI's (all they use is shock factor and are too predictable), House, and 24.

Game shows worth watching are Price is Right, Jeopardy, and Deal or No Deal (just because of the hot models they have on it. The rest of the show is a total joke).

South Park, The Office, and Knights of Prosperity are good comedy shows to watch.

And then you have Star Trek. The reason for watching that is pretty obvious.

I like "House" lot. Hugh Laurie is a great actor potraying House.
