Installing Mods in Online Version of MTWII

HI guys,

Im new to this board, and I was wondering if there was a way to install mods for the online download version that you get from Direct to drive.com

Is there any options? Ive already tried installing the Anno Domini mod....
im disparate to play it.

I was wondering about that, and how the updates for the game are installed to the direct to drive version of the game.

Yeah...i also tried just hard copying the files into the directory but it doesn't work either....makes me wish i bought the steam version mentioned in the tech support thread.
If anyone has any ideas please PM or post here...it would be most helpful...i dont think im the only one who bought it from there.

I second this. I bought the Steam version of the game. It keeps the game patched if you ask it to but mods are very problematic and of course there is no online play. It's nice to pay $50 for a game and be treated like a pirate.

I bought the D2D version.. All you have to do is put the mod folder in the directory.. or use the installer.. no help from hoodini to get it working lol

Pirated versions are more mod compatible. I've only heard bad things about buying things the online way... never trying it myself.
