I need instructions!!!!!!!!

I click on a main link(Roma Serructumownloads etc)and i downloaded the two files i needed in order to play the game.And i had done everything correctly but in the end i couldn't play the game(i do not know why)in the instructions it says that i must not have any other mod.What does it mean?does it mean that i must not install the Roma Serructum mod in a modified folder or does it mean that i must not have other RTW which i have modded.and it says that if i skip this step the game will CTD.What does it mean?In a tick i need instruction because i have seen the preview of Roma Serructum and i WANT to play it.Please help me!!!!!!!

1. Original install of Rome Total War from the CD
2. Install CA patch v1.3
3. Install CA patch v1.5
4. Install ‘Roma SurrectumV1’ into the ‘Rome Total War’ folder(NOT THE DATA FOLDER)
5. Install 'RomaPatch8' into the ‘Rome Total War’ folder(NOT THE DATA FOLDER)

NOW, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING OR THE GAME WILL CTD.........

6. Go into your 'Rome Total War' folder and run 'new_ui.bat'....................
you will be prompted to 'press any key to continue' at some point. Do so. Then you will be asked if you want to overwrite files...press 'A' for All(meaning, yes, overwrite them all). You'll be asked the same things again, answer the same way. This will install all the correct UI unit cards, building cards and Interface files.

When you say originally install RTW by CD you mean i must have an authentic RTW.I do not have an authentic but all my other mods(Bare Bone Wars, Europa Barbarorum, XGM ,Rise Of Persia)work with my non-authentic RTW.Is the such a big deal?

We mean a clean install with no other mods, no other nothing, so install it fresh (however you install) and then patch.

Note: If you have RTW Gold it should alredy be patched to 1.5/1.6
