... (non-English speakers warmly welcome!) - Want to see or hear your work in the mod?
Hello!
If you'd played the Chivalry Mod, you probably noticed, that it lacks some audio. You can help to sort it out!
Writers:
The writers' task will be to create speeches, battle event lines (general routing, time expires etc.) and orders. Than your work will be given to voice actors. Think you can do it? If you know the history of one faction well, send us speeches or battle event lines connected with this faction. If you are a native speaker in non-English language send us a sample in this language. Maybe there will be someone in our dev team who can check it. Our target is to make the voices in the factions' original languages, but it depends on how many writers and voice actors in different languages we'll have The list of "needed" languages will be put in this thread.
Post your samples in this thread
Voice actors:
The voice actors' job is to verbalise what wirters write wink.gif. Unfortunetely it's not so simple. If you have a mic and think we can make use of your voice, send us a sample! The instruction how to make one is in this thread. Your sample should include:
1. A speech. If you can't find/write one, you can use our sample:
Brave men of England, here you stand facing foreign foes on a unfreindly field of battle.
I ask of you to do your lord honour in battle so that he may honour his own liege, his most noble majesty.
Hold your banner high and pray to God and his saints so that we may prevail.
2. Some orders (f.e. march!, run!, forward!, hold position!). Remember to shout!
3. Some battle event lines. You can use ours:
Enemy_general_killed: The enemy general is on his way to the afterlife! Make the rest of his troops join him!
Enemy_general_routs: Honour means nothing to the enemy general! He's running away!
Allied_army_routs: Our allies have left us! We won't fall back so easily!
Enemy_reinforcements_arrived: The enemy brought up reinforcements! They know they're losing this battle!
Post links to your samples in this thread
