    Default Your oldest faction leader

so the other day in a post i read that someone was wondering about the faction leaders post age 60 or 65+ and how they have a higher percentage chance of kicking the bucket after said age. In my current Terrae Expundagae vh/vh campaign, this fool lived a long time, sadly on the day of his 72nd bday he kicked the bucket. Just wondering how old your oldest faction leader is or was. screenies welcome!

My oldest Faction leader ever was Vibius Brutus of the Brutti family Faction, he lived to be 100, then he died the next turn. (I am NOT making this up)

Really?..,That must be the oldest General ever that i heard of during my time playing the total war games. Very impressive of him , they don't live to be 104 years old now let alone in the ancient times.

Welcome to the Total War Center, Red-Devil27!

In order to clear things up a little, let me just say that Terrae Expundagae is a good mod that makes the campaign map larger, and adds more units. I think you should take the time to try it!

People had said to me that there's nothing moddable with age.
But I really starting to doubt it since in my earlier campaigns my Family members survived longer, now I have to bring the casket at 61 years of age.
Some guy eventually makes it 65, thats like 1 out of 25.
Its a thing that really annoys me. Age

To answer the topic title my leader got 107.

    *talking about the first post*
comte, why does your general have "young" in his traits? that seems a little odd for a really old guy. im wondering if that had ne effect on how long your general was able to live?

i have no idea bro, i dont ever add traits or ancillaries so that ended up there all on its own. i believe the "young" trait is also just for movement points and perhaps increasing chance to have children. Also T.E. Even in v/h v/h seems way easy to make cash, i never once added money or cheated, and im almost at 600k. im not complaining at all, just seems odd, i never have a problem with denarii

Mine was 76 years old if I remember it well.

(and he had about 10-15 command stars )

    Then he died in combat.

For my 200 year old faction leader: I was playing vanilla unmodded, at least two years ago, before i found this site. I was playing as the Julii, and the faction leader from the start is Flavius Julius. I kept him alive throughout two lifetimes, only due to the fact that every turn, I quicksaved, and if he died the next turn I quickloaded to try and keep him alive longer. I never really intended for him to live that long actually, but after he broke 100 I couldnt let him die...

He lived on even through the Roman civil war, where he himself, being like 150, commanded my best army in taking Rome. HE stayed governer of Rome for the rest of his life, and I swear he would have been truly immortal if only the plauge didnt hit Rome in like 106 BC.....

The Julii Have it easy. Flavius Julius starts out only 47 years old, he lives usually until around the 230's in each game.

I had a general live to be 108. It was like Hader, he was my original faction leader, so I used him to march on Rome during the Civil War. He died the turn after I took Rome.
