Where is descr_character.txt?

I have searched everywhere and used Windows search, I cannot find this file people keep talking about, why does it not seem to exist for me? where is it for everyone else?

you need to unpack data.pack files (unpacker comes with patch), then you will find it in data folder

I highly advise unpacking into a separate folder.

It should come with the 1.2 patch.

It comes with the medieval 2 total war patch 1.2 it's near about 600mb compressed you can download the patch from gamespot.com
see the attachment for what it looks like and the kingdoms .bat unpacking files comes when you install original copy of kingdoms
the descr_character.txt after unpacking the game will appear in the data folder of the installation directory of M2TW.
And here is the default vanilla version of descr_character.txt in the attachments.
