Is there an easy way to get rid of the land bridges in the Campaign map? Specifically, the land bridge between England and the Continent has to go.

Speaking of the bridges, is there any way to make it so that they can only be used if you own both ends? That's probably hardcoded, but I just thought I'd ask.

The England/Continent and Africa/Spain land bridges are gone in 1.9, which is out as beta 5 right now. So no worries!

I think the bridges are hard-coded. But you can easily block them by planting a ship or ships there, which will keep all but your own units from crossing.
