    Default questions

I just have a few questions that maybe some of you modders out there can answer for me...

I basically want to tweak some things in vanilla 1.5: how (if i can) could I go about pushing the Marian Reforms back to 100 BC (when they actually were)? I looked in the imperial campaign descr_events.txt but it's not under the historic events...also how can I tweak the game so I start with more money and can train any number of units in 1 turn?

    thanks

Marian reforms are hard-coded to occur when the top level of city building is built in a province with the 'italy' hidden_resource, i.e. when the city becomes huge city. To attempt to change the date you need to change the population size or growth rate of the cities with that resource, or move the resource to regions more likely to get to huge city size at the right time.

The amount of money you start with is defined in descr_strat at the start of each factions section, just change:
    faction empire_west, fortified caesar
    denari 1000
I think if you make units take 0 turns to recruit you can recruit everything in queue in one go - never tried it personally though - the figure you need to change to try it is in export_descr_units above ownership line
    stat_cost 1, 620, 240, 70, 90, 500
    ownership romano_british
make that 0 and see what happens
