money flows in kinda easy

Is this an effect of the mod or just my situation? I'm playing as Denmark, I've barely added to infrastructure and I have one merchant, yet I'm just piling in the gold WAAAY faster then I can spend, since building times are so long. I would guess the income needs to be reduced. How can I change this?

With difficulty, income is being tweaked for 2.2, but in the mean time the best way to spend your money is to start a war!!!!!!

I have the opposite problem. Playing in VH/VH as Spain, moors and Milan are attacking me full stacks after full stacks. I need the money to war and as my enemies surround me (Portugal and French were wiped out) I don´t have effective trade agreements. So every turn is a fight for life and my money is needed for new troops. Kinda hard I would say, and the money is not flowing, perhaps you are playing in other difficulty level or you are in peace with lots of trade agreements.

I've found that in VH/VH campaigns, if you take any amount of time at the beginning working on your income, you'll have a crap-ton of money before you know it. In my French campaign, I had war from the start, from all sides, and found myself short on cash... For a while at least.

In this mod when not at war it`s easy to develop and make money but be sure of one thing that when war will be at your doorstep you will find that your coffers drops down quickly

imo its easy to make money because of the long build time. It takes like 8 turns to build a building then bam on the 8th turn all my cities start hte next project and i get like 300k drain from my treasury.

I play on H/H and found the cash to be piling up also. I then took everything out of the data folder for the UAI 1.3 an also used just the diplomacy settings in UAI 1.3 descr_strat.txt (faction_standings and faction_relations). The cash slowed way down. I'm on about turn 100 in an English campaign that has been successful by first destroying the Scots and the French are almost gone. It also seems like I'm having trouble building up a money making economy but I do have alot of castles.

Well your using GrandViz's changes to settlement mechanics and agents, not the LTc ones anymore so i would not recommend it.

yeah, I am a heavy infrastructure investment kind of player early on. i had more cash than god at first. but, when the proverbial shiite hits the fan when the shooting starts, wowsa!, the cash disappears fast.
