    Default Dell Inspiron 1501

Hey all, im looking into buying myself a new semi-good laptop so i can give my sis my old 1 since she doesnt need that much of a powerful laptop. My old 1 around (3 years old or so) came with winXP, 512 ram, a pent 4 (not sure what model) and regular motherboard video.
This new dell i am looking at can come with an Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3500+ (1.8GHz), 1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm, ATI RADEON® Xpress1150 256MB HyperMemory™ (Integrated), all on a windows vista home premium. It is around "$664 As low as $20/month2"
So is this new laptop worth it? Or should i just continue with my old one? I mainly want a newer 1 so when im too lazy to play on comp i can play on laptop. Mainly games such as guild wars. Doesnt have to be max settings or anything. Also since im not sure about cpus on laptops could you guys rate these and let me no if i should change it?
    AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-56 [add $150 or $5/month1]
    AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-50 [add $80 or $3/month1]
    AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile Technology MK-36 [add $50 or $2/month1]
Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3500+ (1.8GHz/512KB) [Included in Price

    Thanks again, -Leon
    P.S.
From what i can tell the special ends today so quick help would be nice

I've gotta say, that Xpress 1150 sucks. It isn't actually for gaming.
Dual core Turions might be decent at most, but if you want a real dual core, go for Intel. Sempron probably beats Turion, but isn't really that good. Somewhere near the A64 3000+ I think.
Price isn't that bad, but the laptop is still useless. So, even for lighter gaming, get a laptop elsewhere. Just thinking about Dell makes me sick.

Hmmm valid info indeed, i am not looking to spend too too much. Aside from that, since i cant exactly clone my laptop, who makes good laptops? Not talking about the best of the best, but i mean decent. -Leon
