    Default nasty bug

    hi all,

i'm playing SPQR 6.2 as romans, garrison script turned off, it's 155bc and there is a nasty CTD bug that is impeding my campaign

i am besieging nicaea, i click end turn and now it's the computer's turn...a gallic army comes up behind me and attacks, we go into battle and the gallic garrison joins the fight as reinforcements...i completely annihilate both armies, including the garrison, so now the little scroll pops up where i can occupy, enslave, or exterminate (it's still the computer's turn, mind you) so i click enslave and it CTDs

i try again 2 more times, clicking occupy and exterminate...both times it CTDs, so as a last resort, i press esc and decide to save before choosing whether to occupy, enslave, or exterminate...i type in the name of the save, click "save game," and i get CTD again

this has never happened to me before, in fact, this is the first time i've had CTD with SPQR...i'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that i am occupying an enemy province while it is still the computer's turn? but that has never been a problem before...anyone know what's going on and what i can do?

please help as i am getting tired of fighting the same two gallic armies over and over again

Well RTW ghas some floating Hard coded bugs hanging around. lol I have noticed new bugs from the 1.5 patch that were not a problem in the 1.2, there seems to be some random bugs that occur for some reason that we are not aware of. It does this in Vanilla and several other mods. What I suggest is Lose that Battle or Retreat so you DONT occupy that City. I found a vanilla RTW bug with patch 1.5 that sometime occupying a city causes a CTD but if you wait a while in the campaign and attack again and take it you dont get a ctd.

This was both confirmed by myself in SPQR and vanilla RTW. Problem is its RANDOM, nothing to connect the dots.

    Hope this helps?
