Default How is the recruitment of Historical legions?

    HI

I'm in the beggining of a roman campaign (260 B.C.) and the marian reforms haven't happened yet.
My question is, how is the recriutment of Historical Legion? Do I only recruit one card and the entire legion appears outside the city or do I have to recruit the legion cohort by cohort? :hmmm:

    Thanks for all help

No you recruit cohort by cohort. The reforms will happen - I've forgotten the exact details of the requirements, but they are I think dependent on an Imperial palace somewhere.

Currently, you must build an Imperial Palace in Mediolanium, Patavium, Croton or Tarentum for the reforms to occur.

So you recruit Cohort by cohort?
Can I build all the legions that appear in the custom battle menu?

    Those two as well?

Removing the Italy resource will fix that right?

I killed the worlds greatest General and all I got was this faction in a TW game.

Yes, you can, but they are governed by strict AORs (areas of recruitment) so you can't build all of them everywhere. We've tried to be as nearly historical as we can be with these, whilst being aware of the need for good gameplay. In fact these are currently undergoing revision.

Not ALL of them, just in one of them.

    Oh, Well I knew that.

It's just that I Extremenate the settlements that cause the Marius reforms to slow them down.
