problem with 6.2 mod

I have a problem with the 6.2 mod. On the face of it it appears I've installed the mod successfully. (the files are extracted and sent to the RTW folder in program files according to the computer) However the mod is absent when i start the game.

I have a clean install of RTW plus patch 1.3 and patch 1.5. I have also changed preferrences txt. to false prior to installing the mod as instructed.

I managed to extract the data file and the readme file to my documents so I know the mod is being downloaded OK (it's all present and correct) but I don't know why the same files are not ending up in the RTW file when directed there.

Do I need to do something else. Alternatively can i move the relevant data file from my documents to the RTW folder

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try making a shortcut from the RomeTW program inside the Rome Total War Folder (rightclick on this program and then select "Create shortcut") and start the game with it. I seemed to have the same problem as you, but solved it in this way.
