Fatal error?
I get this message when trying to start up medieval 2. the message says at the top CA_LIBS and then says Medieval II suffered a fatal error and will now exit.I know I can play it with my hardware because it worked before. But I reinstalled my computer so I had to install the game again I forget how to fix this error.I had to fix before too.

Re: Fatal error?
I am running XP and have had this problem for months now and I have not been able to play the game since my last re-install months ago. I have fixed it before as well, but it frustrates me that I have not been able to get any help with this issue.

Re: Fatal error?
My situation is the same as Legionary's, I fixed it when I first got the game and a couple months ago I had to reset me computer settings due to a virus. Upon reinstalling the game, I encountered the problem again and cannot remember how I fixed it the first time.

Re: Fatal error?
I have fixed the problem. All you will need to do is uninstall the game. After uninstalling, go to C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War and delete everything having to do with the game. Then, reinstall to vanilla.

Re: Fatal error?
doesn't seem to work for me
though I am using steam, so it might be some other issue...*shrug*
I shall try cleaning the registry as well
