You'd regret what you did or what you didn't do?

Okay, here's the question. Would you regret something you did or something you didn't do?
What I mean is like this, example... like when you wanna say I love you to a girl you really love and you're not sure of the way she'd react.
Would you regret if you tell her the truth and she'd blow you off or in the other hand would you regret why you didn't tell her that and think about "what if" after you learned that she really loved you...

Probably because I just read Myth of Sisyphus (Camus)... the absurd life, which is the only one really worth living, is lived through experiences, and passing up on things, not acting, is not getting experiences. Good read, actually.
