Default Obama and Hillary..this will be entertaining

Well, according to the press, they started their clawing and scratching yesterday, as an Obama supporter and wannabe celebrity (who was a fund raiser back in the day for the Clinton's) had the audacity to critisize Ms. Hillary. And of course, she responded with fangs bared.

This is 18 months before the next election. And the smooth talking trial lawyer (Edwards) hasn't even entered the intra-Democratic mud-slinging yet.

This will be fun to watch. What are your thoughts about the Dems tearing each other down, vs focusing on issues or at least attacking their political foes rather than each other?

The Republicans will do the exact same thing as soon as their race heats up.

You might be right Cassy, time will tell. It just seems more pointless for the party not in office to be investing their time in attacking each other, vs the Republicans.

I would love to see a candidate of either party who focuses EXCLUSIVELY on the issues. Of course, then they probably wouldn't want to be a politician.

The Presidency is too important a prize and once you lose the primaries once you're exceedingly unlikely to ever be reconsidered, Republicans will attempt to rip the faces off their Republican opponants just like the Democrats are motioning to do now, exception being that the Republicans are the politicians most in bed with vicious beatings. They would run down their opponants in hummers and sacrfice them on a sewer alter to the leech Gods.

I hardly think David Geffen is a "wannabe celebrity". Here's the story:

Geffen didn't say anything a lot of Dems haven't already thought.

what Geffen said about Hillary is true, which is why I pray (in the non-literal sense) that Hillary loses the primaries.
