knights of santiago charging issues...
While Mailed Knights, Feudal Knights, and General's Bodyguards charge perfectly, I'm having trouble with the Knights of Santiago. For whatever reason, they break off all their head on charges right before they hit the target... exactly like 1.0 vanilla. they turn the other direction and gather in a cluster right in the enemy's face.
so does Horsearchers charge thing neglect the KoS? anyone else experience this? what's going on here? :hmmm:
if you want to test this by the way, KoS charge perfectly in custom battles. this is only giving me problems in the campaign.

Re: knights of santiago charging issues...
Knights of Santiago have exactly the same charge distance as every other heavy cav unit, so they yes they do have the charge fix applied to them. But you still have to take time when controlling them to get them to charge to their full effect.

Re: knights of santiago charging issues...
er... is the problem that I'm trying to use them the same way as feudal/mailed knights? i'm really confused about this.
i mean, i send them to charge a unit head on. they grind to a halt right before they hit their target, about face, and cluster into a ball. in a frenzy, i right click the target several times but they just refuse to un-cluster from that point unless i give them a move command (as opposed to an attack).
as stated before, they seem fine in custom battles, and also in my campaign other horsemen charge exactly the way i want them to. when i resume my conquests tonight i'll try to get some screens for you.
