AI defending their cities
Hi all.
We all know the skills of AI when it comes to defending its border provinces. They usually have about one unit in them in times of peace.
But, one thing I've noticed is, that AI protects its capital just fine. Every single capital of a faction is protected with a full stack inside.
So I'm asking if it's possible to mod in to LTC, a feature that AI protects its border provinces (at least) as greatly as it protects the capital of that faction?

Re: AI defending their cities
If they can do it with the capitals they probably can do it with all the other settlements!!! I`am no modder but still. If you look at Rome Region same thing the Papal state can`t really upgrade but if you give him another region then watch out he will upgrade and be aggressive.
This said the capitals must be code or something a bit like Rome region so I`m pretty sure that this matter can be change unless it`s hardcoded

I think this problem is exactly why some people have been so in favor of the garrison script mods out there, at least as an easy solution to the problem.

Re: AI defending their cities
What I don't understand is that often the AI will leave a decent stack right outside a city, while it is garrisoned with one or two units. Thus I just launch a night attack and easily conquer.
Using UAI 1.2 with LTC, the AI is absurdly aggressive though. I think Milan has sieged Toulouse at least 7 or 8 times now in the last 20 turns. It's fun.
