I think this one is really beyond me to solve. There should be a file called
descr_strategy_lighting.txt in \Rome - Total War\Data this is one of the original files and not altered by our mod. (should be 1kb file dated 2004) Check that, that is actually there, if it is I have no idea why its not being read!

Please confirm does the original BI game still launch and play on your installation? :hmmm:

That is one of the files that popped up as an error when some people tried to install our mod - I guess it must be read near the beginning or something...anyway, the reason for it popping up is because the player has installed a mod wrongly or is using a wrong shortcut. Install again!

Found a couple of bugs playing as the Satanae.

The blade of the Carreau axemens axes are awry (That came out pretty awkward)

Vampire headhunters animation is the original bad one, I think a new and better one has been made, as far as I remember the Crusader - Total War mod uses it.

i cant get past the last part where it says



The game should now be fully installed, to play it you need to make a shorcut to the BI.exe
right click the BI.exe in the 'Rome - Total War' folder, select create shortcut. Once created right click
on the shortcut and select properties in the target line after the last " type: space-mod:bi/eod space-show_err
so your target line now looks like:
"C:\program files\activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:bi/eod -show_err



whenever i do it it says this

The name "C:\program files\activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:bi/eod -show_err specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and filename are correct

can anyone help i wanna try this mod
