They were in range, and shooting at me, but I was behind some buildings so they couldn't hit me. Although, I didn't look to see if any arrows were coming out....
I'll try to make it happen again
Awesome mod btw!![]()

I've seen this often, defiantly a vanilla bug and yeh I think it only appears when a unit is behind a building.
They've a very limited kill ratio as well since only 1/2 get through.
I have same prob as Emperor, he just gives that same error over and over again!
If you mean the descr_strategy_lighting.txt thing, apparently that means the mod has been installed wrongly (in some creative manner I've never been able to duplicate)

have you tried re-installing mod? Mod definitely works when installed correctly according to instructions on a BI 1.6 version.
EDIT: gah, Halie got there first....

Suggest re install of RTW and then BI + Patches. From reading Emperor's posts he seemed to have corrupted his install with another mod. Unless you can give us information to the contrary we have to assume you have the same problem.

N, N, Never!!..
jib1 - You've installed the mod incorrectly at some point. It defiantly works, all I can suggest is reinstalling.
SCG man - English please.
I just installed the mod, it starts up as it should, but in the Single Player menu, when I click "Main Campaign" or try to start the Satanae campaign under Provincial Campaigns (is that a bug that there is only the Satanae campaign in there?), I get a message "Please pick an item from the list" and nothing else happens - only there is no list for me to pick anything from.
Hi SC, welcome to the forums.. The reply below was posted by Mak some time ago to a user who had the same problem..
I suspect it might be that you weren't actually patched to version 1.6 - please start your normal BI game, go into 'options' - look at top right hand corner, if it says 1.4 you need to apply CA's 1.6 patch before installing EOD.
its either that one - or you didn't copy and move the BI folder as explained in the install instructions before installing EoD
please check those two possibilities and try re-installing EoD onto a fresh copy of the BI folder as explained in the instructions
For all game I didn't find any bug

'script error in data/descr_building_battle.text,at line 50 column9,
building db,expected faction culture or season'
This is no installation problem. EOD proper works fine in the same installation placement; with the 3 factions submod installed on top, it gives this error. The submod is bugged somehow.

First I've heard of it. And the submod has been out in the world for quite a number of years now..
Installation problem might be the first likely suspect, second would be if you're mixing and matching modifications (including editing some files yourself).
Frist advice would be a careful reinstall, following all the directions step by step and see if that covers it.
Your submod is on moddb in the same page as EoD, might be why you dont hear about it directly (not to mention many of these mods are now older than elementary school children. I dont personaly expect any responses in most cases to be honest, that the forums are still active is incredible).
Also theres several reports of the same error message in this thread, and 90% of people dont dare touch anything anyways, so its not about modifications to the files. That error happens just after installation like i said, the steps were followed![]()
It's true, they are... we are quickly becoming just downright ancient...![]()
So jrhindo - I checked both the forums here AND the EoD page over at ModDB and I did discover that yes, people had reported the same error. But, I also discovered that those same people eventually reported the cause of their error was an incorrect installation. So, the answer is to carefully follow the installation instructions.
It is an easy mistake to make though as the installation instructions for EoD are a bit more complicated than for some other mods (requires a full copy of BI folder, and user to manually drop/copy/replace the correct files in the right places). But, the detailed installation instructions are fairly easy to follow, just need to remember to follow them step-by-step so as to not miss one!
Good luck!
My settlements don't seem to have religious unrest from Paganism, is this intended?

Freedom to frolic among the furry woodland creatures at night, sounds a winning credo to me.
