Clone - judging by what you pm'd me you're missing the
C:\....activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:bi\eod
bit on the shortcut - if you only put
C:\....activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:bi
you will indeed still be playing normal BI
I'm answering here instead of pm, in-case it helps anyone else (these problems do seem to recur)

I've played every faction and had no more problems than with any mod.
Which unit?. can you take a screen shot, I've never seen anything wrong.bad unit animation for shambhala.

Hey Mak or Halie, do you think you could possibly put up just the "export_descr_units" file? I've edited mine so heavily, I want a fresh start, but I don't want to have to download and and reinstall the entire thing because that takes a lot of time lol.

You've installed the mod incorrectly at some point. It defiantly works, all I can suggest is reinstalling.

sorry but is the purpose of the vampire infantry units? They cost more than exael legions, are of lesser numbers and appear to fight far more poorly despite better stats, I don't get it. even the fear causing benefits seem not to make up for it, every time I use them, they need to be either regrouped or retrained after one battle, because they DIE LIKE FLIES, how are they meant to be used?

For any who are interested by my FF on occurrences in Rhun and beyond; I have begun a new project (not because the old one is finished, just opening more room for ideas) about one of the minor characters, Rankal. Tactically I used them as shock troops in large battle, a couple of Vampyre units charging a battle line can have a powerful effect on the enemy. They also come into their own in situations where they can't be swamped, so bridge battles, streets and walls. You should also notice that as their exp level rises they become more fearsome in any situation.

This may be a vanilla 'annoyance' but I thought I would post here first since I was playing EOD when I first noticed it.
I'm playing 'possessed' and was fighting in a pagan town when their archers started firing at my troops who were shielded by buildings. I thought I'd let them run out of arrows so I ran it at 3x speed for a good while, and they never ran out! They shot well over 30 times that I see is the limit in export_descr_unit for most archers. Is this your work or CA's?
It's not something deliberately done by us..... I thought I'd read somewhere else about an unlimited missile bug, but now can't find info
Does it only happen when there are buildings in between? and are your troops actually being killed? I just wondered if maybe the animation is playing and its saying they're shooting, but they're not really using up the arrows as they're not really in range....![]()
