    Default Aqquired followers/items ect

I realised that with FATW there's generals that have not only followers ala RTW but also traits and items such as swords, helms, renowned weapons ect that can be switched passed on between generals. Do you need to constantly pass these items on to ensure they stay?
(for example, the king of RK has a whole slew of unique items and titles. if he dies of old age, does the new king automatically aqquire these items? Or are they lost to the wind?)

    I'll quote myself from elsewhere:

Lord of Westfold, for instance, is given to any captain (general) that spends a turn in Helm's Deep if there is no captain currently with that ancillary (simulating you granting them lordship). The same is true for all the other 'titles', i.e. they are tied to settlements. The Black Horn is given to any captain with the 'House of Erkenbrand' trait (which is a trait passed on from father to legitimate son), so the only way this will not be reassigned is if that House 'dies'. Most other heirlooms tied to faction leaders/heirs get regenerated with the new king/heir. You can also move ancillaries around manually, if your captains/spies/assassins/emissaries are in the same army/settlement; just open the character scroll, grab and draw the ancillary image over the image of the character you wish to give the ancillary to. This is a good way of giving younger captains a head start by giving them ancillaries from older (and soon to be dead) captains - and also what you want to be doing if you notice that the last of the House of Erkenbrand is son-less.
To add to that: heirlooms/offices, such as Andúril or Lord of Emyn Arnen, always get passed on, though a few have certain conditions attached to them (Steward of Gondor will only be given to a captain from the House of Húrin, for example). Other items, such as Elven Sword or Dwarven Helm, are more difficult to get and should probably be passed on manually if you want to keep them.

If anyone has any questions regarding traits and ancillaries, I'll be happy to answer them here.

I have been wondering, though: Have anyone got a full set of Elven or Dwarven armour/weapons (helm/hauberk/sword)? Or the mithril armour set? What about the Haradrian Kathuphazgân trait?

I find it extremely hard to get new traits or ancillaries. I play as Rohan and my King kicks ass everywhere but he got like 2 or 3 traits in the last 10 to 15 years. He killed countless enemies (7 exp) but only has +1 to command (not even victor). My guys governing cities get almost no traits at all (even less ancillaries, even in big cities). And I only got one special ancillary (marshal of the mark) when conquering Dunfreca. Not even conquering the Dunland capital with my King gave me anything special (trait or ancillary). Do I need to sent a "fresh" guy ( without any title yet) to cities to get titles or can anyone get them?
Any way to get more traits and special items and titles or should it be so slow?

Traits like 'Victor' and 'Good Captain', etc, have the same triggers as vanilla, so there should be no problem with those. In my Rohan campaign I've had no problem acquiring ancillaries and traits, but I'll have another look at the triggers - perhaps someone else could confirm Executor's problems? There is no special ancillary/trait for conquering the Dunlendish capital.

It should, IMO, be difficult to get ancs & traits, but not too difficult.
