I got a question...
Well, my brother just recently started his campaign with the Carthagians and he qonquered libya, sicilia, iberia and then decided to move to Greece 'cause I told him that's where the money is. So he headed for Asia Minor and conquered Alikarnassos. His next plan was to conquer Nikomedia, so he went and conquered the settlement only to find out that the people where revolting at the very first turn (I guess he had to exterminate the settlement populance, but he just occupied it and the fact that the settlement was way far from his capital along with the culture penalty made the people rebel against him). So he decided to move all of his army from Nikomedia and re-capture it to teach them a mighty lesson (extermination!!
) when suddenly in the next turn the city went to the Carthagian rebels (Numidians) along with 2 full stacks of soldiers. The strange part was that he (my brother) had already wiped out the Numidians! Can someone please tell me how this is possible?:hmmm:

Re: I got a question...
The rebel factions for cart, rome GCs and such, work as the roman rebels in BI. when a settlement rebels from you it can go to the shadowing faction. you must watch for your generals loyalty, because they can join the dark side too...

Re: I got a question...
Yes, but my question is how can a rebelling city go to an already defeated faction?

Re: I got a question...
That's because there are no NUMIDIANS in this game, there are Carthaginian REBELS, if a carthaginian city rebels, it will automatically go over to the carthaginian rebels.
And besides your question was already answered by Kara Kolyo, please do read previous posts more carefully before posting.

Re: I got a question...
I know there are no NUMIDIANS in the game, I am just used to the faction's NAME so I reffer to them as NUMIDIANS. And mabe YOU didn't read MY post carefully, for I have said (for the 3rd time now) that my brother had completely WIPED OUT the Carthagian rebels. So there were no more of them as their factions was DESTROYED. So HOW can a destroyed faction reappear out of thin air?

Re: I got a question...
If u have played BI then you would know that rebel factions sprout out even after the rebellion has been quashed, it isn't a normal faction, it is a rebel faction of Carthage, it can never be "defeated" It will always appear when a city rebels.

Re: I got a question...
Ok, now I get it
thnx btw, oh yeah and I haven't played BI yet so I can't know.
Anyways, is it possible to make an officer of the GCS hold the old Macedonian emblem (the lambda) instead of the faction's symbol?

Changing the banner carried by officers is relatively easy. You just need to edit \xgm\Data\models_unit\textures\OFFICER_GREEK_STANDARD_GREECE.TGA.DDS.
