    Default descr_model_battle limit problem

sorry for popping up another thread, i really need help badly
how do i get around "descr_model_battle has exceeded its limit"
    without removing any entry?

or if i cannot, how do i safely remove an entry, what descr.txt should i check i am to remove one?

to make it clearer, i am editing descr_model_battle of "DarthMod" (for personal use) and i can only add 2 or so new entry.

    how do i expand this?

It would depend how much Darth edited the descr_model_battle for his mod already - you might get better answer if you ask in DarthMod forums.

Vanilla DMB has some unused entries. Don't know of any easy way but start going through it from the beginning. Look up each type line e.g. from BI:
type merc_wolfhounds ; NOT SURE WHAT TO DO HERE - MERCINARY CREW ??
    skeleton fs_dagger
    indiv_range 40
    texture merc, bi/data/models_unit/textures/BI_unit_merc_wolfhounds.tga
    texture celts, bi/data/models_unit/textures/BI_unit_merc_wolfhounds_celts.tga
    model_flexi bi/data/models_unit/BI_unit_merc_wolfhounds_lod1.cas, 15
then do a edit, find search in export_descr_unit.txt (EDU) to see if exactly that name comes up in soldier line. That one doesn't (in BI)
    type merc wolfhounds
    dictionary merc_wolfhounds ; Mercenary Wolfhounds
    category handler
    class light
    voice_type Medium_1
    soldier merc_crew, 12, 24, 0.9
    animal wardogs
soldier line for that unit is actually merc_crew and the merc_wolfhounds DMB soldier is not used anywhere else in EDU. So that entry can be safely commented out of DMB (its better initially to comment out entries by putting ; before each line, in case you go wrong)
Looking for examples in DMB that have some sort of comment left after them by CA, like that example may help find un-used ones.

Additionally if you can find units in EDU that aren't used in the mod they can be deleted / commented out of EDU and the corresponding soldier-type removed from DMB. To check unit is not used in mod you need to check the EDU type line (merc wolfhounds without the underscore in that example) is not used in export_descr_buildings, descr_strat.txt, descr_rebel_factions.txt or descr_mercenaries.txt

But as I say it may be worth trying to check with Darth that he hasn't already done that and maxed out the limits!
